We can receive data in the form of flat file like JSON, CSV, Avro, and Parquet. Avro, Parquet, Cloud Datastore backups, and JSON support data with nested and repeated fields. Nested and repeated data is useful for expressing hierarchical data; JSON, Parquet, and Cloud Datastore reduce data duplication as they support nested data storage while normalizing the data.
