Cloud source repositories are private Git repositories hosted on GCP. Source repositories provides Git version control to support collaborative development of any application or service, including those that run on app engine and Compute Engine.
When to use:
If, while using GCP, you require the repositories to store your code while working in collaboration, you can opt to go for cloud source repositories.
