Cloud SDK

Cloud SDK is a set of tools that you can use in GCP on the command line, such as gcloud, gsutil, and bq. Using these tools we can access BigQuery, Google Cloud Compute Engine, Google Cloud Storage, and many more.

When to use:

You can use Cloud SDK to execute infrastructure services through the Command Prompt.

Special features: 

The following are the special features of Cloud SDK:

  • Support gcloud, gsutil, bq: Can access Cloud Platform APIs, Cloud Storage buckets/objects, and you can query and manipulate data though the Command Prompt
  • cmdlets: Can access GCP tools from Windows environments
