Vision and Standards of Excellence

I’m not going to take time to discuss how to create a vision. Like strategic planning, that’s beyond the scope of this book, and presumably, either your company’s vision is already in place or you’re not the person responsible for that work anyway. I do, however, need to introduce the topic so I can show how vision and plans are interrelated and how you can ensure they are aligned.
