Joe
Our grandson, Joe, works for us as a short-sale agent. He found this quote by Sam Walton, the founder of Walmart. “There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else.”
These are wonderful people. But they are not unique or different from you. They have all the usual problems, misgivings, and insecurities we all have. They do a super job, yet they are not superhuman. They have become united under a simple two word mission statement: Clients First.
They each interpret its meaning in their own way, but they all get it. They are all honest with our clients. We trust them, and our clients trust them. They are all competent when serving our clients. If one person doesn’t have an answer, another team member can help find it, so the client is well served. They all care deeply about our clients. JoAnn and I cried the first time we read these entries. We cry when we reread them. The caring shows through.
