Sue

Our other cowinner was Sue. When clients initially call in about listing their homes, Sue takes the call. She listens and schedules a time for Kelly to see them. She does the research and prepares the listing. When Kelly comes back with the key, she prepares the file for Joyce. She also handles all the leases, goes on the occasional listing herself, and runs comps for appraisers so that our homes don’t fall out of escrow. We’ve never had a client say an unkind word about Sue. She creates business and helps every agent on the team. Sue told us of her first job, a fortunate experience.

The company that I feel needs to be placed first on my list is Wegmans. It is a well-known name and household word to the people of Rochester, New York, and now to some neighboring states. Its philosophy is one of achieving incredible customer service, and it does this by first meeting the needs of its employees. I began working for this company when I turned 16, and even though people from out of state would refer to it as a grocery store, until you’ve been in one of these stores, it would be hard to imagine its scope. This company started out as a mom-and-pop store and grew into a company that has been ranked in the “100 Best Companies to Work For” nine times and has achieved the rank of number one and number two.
