You Need a Plan

If Clients First really is the secret of our success, and we believe it is, then how does someone do it? How do you put Clients First into action? What do you do today? What do you do tomorrow? How do you transform your business, job, department, or corporation into a Clients First enterprise? You need a plan.

JoAnn and I didn’t have a plan. We didn’t choose Clients First, it chose us. Our miracle was a transformation. We are not the same two kids who entered real estate halfway through their lives. Clients First changed us in fundamental ways. Looking back, it was both gradual and sudden.

Some time ago, a fellow agent spoke about the mystery of change. He said that you gradually stop paying attention to your profit and loss statements, and then suddenly you are broke. You gradually let things slide with employees, and suddenly you have a do-nothing workforce. You gradually lose appreciation for your spouse, and suddenly you are divorced. Likewise, it would be unrealistic to expect sudden success without a gradual progression toward that success.
