Maturity models

To help software development vendors produce better applications, several models have been developed to guide the vendors toward higher levels of maturity in the industry. These models enable vendors to identify where they currently exist on the maturity scale and show them where they might be lacking features, processes, and controls that improve their application’s performance, accuracy, security, and even profitability.
