Now that guidance has been provided about isolating faults within the Unified CVP solution, it is time to provide some additional guidance on how to verify the status of different native and non-native components. During fault isolation exercises, device status must be verified first before detailed troubleshooting exercises are performed. This is to ensure that an issue actually exists. Several types of critical issues can be simply resolved by just verifying the status of the device. In cases where the device status checks out, move into more detailed troubleshooting exercises to isolate more complicated configuration issues that are not visible from surveying the status of the solution.
