Summary

This chapter focused on a subject that is not well covered in existing Unified CVP documentation. Although some perceptions exist around streaming and nonstreaming modes and their behavior with and without caches, the reality of their behavior is quite different. The mystery of how the IVR cache works together with the HTTP client cache was solved. This chapter also provided some good insight as to how the HTTP client and IVR Media Player maintain their caches for modes where they are truly the owner.
