This chapter covered the overall CSA software components: agents and the CSA MC. These components communicate using various connections at the necessary times utilizing encrypted SSL communication streams. You also learned the behavior-based characteristics of the CSA product and how this differs from the older signature-based technologies. CSA provides an all-inclusive multifunctional product with a single management interface. Part 2 examines the configuration components on the MC in more detail.
