RSH and RCP

Another tool available to Network Operators that can be used in scripts or programs is the RSH family of utilities which comes with every standard UNIX distribution. The two most common programs used from the RSH family of utilities are rsh and rcp. RSH stands for "remote shell" and RCP stands for "remote copy." These utilities enable a user on a UNIX workstation to execute a command or program from a trusted host on a remote system or to copy a file between two trusted hosts.
