Chapter 3. Initial Router Setup

Cisco routers come with no default configuration. Before you can use a Cisco router on a network, you must program it with the configuration you need to accomplish your predefined tasks. This chapter discusses the various programming options available to you. In addition, various different command-line programming modes are discussed.
