Numbering Systems

You don't have to be a mathematics major to have success networking with Cisco routers and switches, but you do need to understand two numbering systems that are very important when working with computers and networking. These numbering systems are no more complicated than the decimal numbering system. However, unlike the decimal system that we all learned in the second or third grade and is second nature to us, most people are unfamiliar with these alternate systems.
