8.4. Verify Multicast

Now, I take you through a few of the commands that allow you to see and verify the multicast configuration on a router. My discussion includes the multicast routing table, interface information, and RP information.

The command to show a multicast routing table is:

DalRtr1#show ip mroute  [group-address ] [summary ] [count ][active kpbs ]

Here is a sample of the output from a routing table.
