A syslog server separates messages according to their facility type. This command states the facility
to which messages generated by the router belong. Valid facilities are auth

.
Example
The following command configures the router to send syslog messages to the local7
facility:
#logging facility local7
The behavior of the syslog server depends on its own configuration. With the following line in syslog.conf, the server saves local7
messages with a debugging severity to the file /var/log/debug-logfile:
local7.debug /var/log/debug-logfile
