We are now at the end of this short cut on Cisco firewall technology. The aim of this short cut was to provide you with an easy-to-read guide to the different types of firewall technologies and information about how these are represented with current Cisco technology.
We started the short cut looking at what firewalls are and their history over the past 20 years. This introduced concepts such as packet filtering and stateful firewalls.
