C-4. Catalyst 6000 FlexWAN Module

• The FlexWAN module supports up to two Cisco 7200/7500 series router WAN port adapters in any combination.

• Up to eight FlexWAN modules can be installed in a Catalyst 6000 switch chassis.

• Any port adapter can be used except Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Token Ring, FDDI, channel port adapters, encryption service modules, compression service modules, and double-wide port adapters.

Configuration

Interfaces on FlexWAN port adapters are configured according to the Cisco IOS Software command syntax. The configuration commands are entered on either an MSFC/MSFC2 module or on the Catalyst 6000 Supervisor running native Cisco IOS Software.
