Future Directions
It was already noted that one of the hallmarks of a successful community is that it is designed for evolution. In keeping with a desire to continuously evolve, some events in next year's program will include a new twist. In particular, several meetings will be held at selected member sites with the hosts sharing their particular expertise.
Another proposed CoP enhancement is the CIO Advisor. This forum is intended to provide an opportunity for CIOs to receive advice from a group of selected peers who have “been there and done that.” This is a confidential, moderated group of peers who share and gain practical knowledge and counsel on the challenges and opportunities they face with the client.
