Glass is a tough material to master. It's clear and transparent, so we shouldn't be able to see it, right? Well what it lacks in color value, it more than makes up for it in refraction, reflection, and specular properties. There are a lot of little things to iron out when creating a good glass material, and in this recipe we are going to learn the steps to create a fragrance bottle to put on the counter of our bathroom sink.
If you skipped the earlier recipe on the Lathe-NURBS, go check it out to get the hang of the process back in Chapter 2, Super Modeling. We are going to put this in our
Bathroom.c4d file, but I'd recommend creating the bottle in a new project and just pasting it on once we are done.
