Sculpting a head

In this recipe we're going to be sculpting a head! But don't worry it's not as difficult as it sounds. We're taking what we've learnt in the previous recipe and applying it to a practical task. And don't worry too much if your first effort isn't quite the Venus De Milo. These things take practice!

Getting ready

You should have a feel for the basics after playing around with your sphere. Now, we're going to look at sculpting a head. You won't have to model the base mesh of the head yourself, thankfully Maxon has included some base meshes for us to work on to.

Create a new document and open the Content Browser (Windows | Content Browser). Go to Presets | Sculpting | Base Meshes and select Generic Head Bust.
