As of the end of 2013, streaming video accounted for nearly 53 percent of all Internet traffic. Recent statistics show that more than 1 billion unique users visit YouTube each month. Over 6 billion hours of video are watched each month, and nearly 100 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute. Nielsen recently reported that YouTube reaches more U.S. adults ages 18 to 34 than any cable network.
