Selecting Lenses

Make better choices for your photography

Modern DSLRs (digital single lens reflexes) and DSLMs (digital single lens mirrorless cameras) are designed for interchangeable lenses. By changing lenses, you can get more of a scene in the shot with a wide-angle, magnify a distant bird with a telephoto, and get better close-ups. But what lens? Any lens is going to add size and weight to your camera bag or pack, plus it is going to cost some amount of money. In this first chapter, we’re going to look at how to make better choices when you expand your lens options for your gear.
