Preface

As an instructor, I have been working with theatre costume design students for many years. I know how students become frustrated when drawing human figures, and I understand their needs. I feel I have a responsibility to write this book in order to help students who have trouble drawing, and hope this book will greatly help all prospective designers out there. Because English is my second language, writing this book has been a very difficult task. Some days I felt it was impossible and wanted to give up. But the desire to help my students-future designers—encouraged me to continue.
