Response of the Non-Aligned Governments

Lima, 1975

Immediately after this World Conference in Mexico, the Foreign Ministers of non-aligned countries at the Ministerial Conference of Non-Aligned Countries, held in Lima in August 1975 reiterated their conviction that “full and complete development of the developing nations requires the maximum participation of men and women in all spheres of their national activity, establishment of necessary conditions for women in their countries to attain equal rights as men and exercise the same as well as equal opportunities and responsibilities”.
