About the Author

Daniel M. Cable is a Sarah Graham Kenan Distinguished Scholar and Professor of Management in the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina. Dan’s areas of research, teaching, and consulting include corporate culture, person-organization fit, performance management, the organizational entry process, selection systems, and total rewards. Dan received his PhD and Masters Degrees from Cornell University, and his BA from Pennsylvania State University. Dan received the McCormick Award for Distinguished Research Contributions from the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
