The Broad or Aerial View

The emphasis of this Info-line is the tactical side of change management; however, we must start by taking a look at a typical broad view. The Six-Phase Change Strategy Model sidebar on the following page represents the phases of change along a continuum. It shows that progress can be forward or backward, depending on what is going on in the organization.

You must remember that change is incremental relative to both the redesign or reengineering of processes and the transformation of employee attitudes and behaviors.
