Change Politics and Change Levers
In previous chapters the importance of leading change authentically, personal preparation for the change and winning the hearts and minds of employees were highlighted. Furthermore, the importance of having an understanding of what change truly means to employees as well as strategies the change agent can use to enhance change engagement, were explored. In this chapter the role of power and politics, the formulation of an own-change strategy and the use of context specific change levers are discussed. These components form additional building blocks and provide you with strategies and tactics that can be used to implement and lead change effectively.
