Summary

In this chapter, we explained how to set up real-world applications of clusters: a database server and a web server. Both applications build upon a replicated storage device in a setup that increases availability by providing failover storage for regular and database files.

In the next two chapters, we will build upon the concepts and resources that we introduced here, troubleshoot common issues in cluster-based web and database servers, and prevent common bottlenecks in order to ensure the high availability of applications.
