Cisco IDS Course Prerequisites
The prerequisites for the Cisco IDS course are as follows:
Certification as a CCNA or the equivalent knowledge (optional)
Strong user-level experience with Windows operating systems and a basic understanding of the Cisco IOS user interface
Familiarity with the networking and security terms and concepts (learned via prerequisite training or by reading industry publications)
