IPv6 BGP Authentication
The procedure to configure BGP authentication on an IPv6 network is identical to the procedure previously seen for IPv4. Specifically, you issue the neighbor neighbor-ip password key command in BGP router configuration mode; however, the neighbor-ip value will be an IPv6 address, as opposed to an IPv4 address.
Example 17-15 shows a sample BGP authentication for the IPv6 network illustrated in Figure 17-9.
