Filtering by Referencing ACLs

To filter EIGRP routes by matching them using ACLs, the ACL must match a route with a permit clause to then allow the route to be advertised, and match the route with a deny clause to filter the route. Before getting into how an ACL matches a route, first it is important to review what can be examined based on the configuration of an IP ACL.

EIGRP distribute lists support the use of standard IP ACLs.
