Brandon Anastasoff has been a systems engineer with Cisco Systems since October 2007, when he moved from a lead network architect role in a major newspaper-publishing firm. He has spent more than 20 years in the industry, focusing on security for the past 10 and obtaining certifications inside and outside of Cisco, with his CISSP, CCSP, and most recently, the Security CCIE. After studying in the United Kingdom, Brandon took a year off in Saudi Arabia to see what a real job would be like before proceeding to college, but found the lure of an income too irresistible and never went back for the degree.
