WAAS Central Manager
Cisco WAAS provides a centralized, scalable, secure, and simple management solution called Cisco WAAS Central Manager. This management function can run on either a Cisco Wide Area Virtualization Engine (WAVE) appliance or a virtual Central Manager (vCM) appliance. A WAVE appliance can function in a central manager mode or in WAAS appliance mode. It cannot perform both roles concurrently. A pair of WAAS devices or virtual appliances can be deployed to provide high availability for the WAAS Central Manager.
