ACE 4710 Appliances
The Cisco ACE 4710 appliance is a standalone form factor device for discrete data center deployments. The ACE appliance has no dependency on the switching platform used in the data center. It typically connects to the aggregation layer switches in the data center to provide Layer 4 to Layer 7 services. It provides a full range of Cisco application delivery functions, including Layer 4 and Layer 7 content switching, extensive application security, and server offload for Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and TCP processing, as well as an expanded set of application acceleration capabilities.
