ACE Deployment Modes
The Cisco Application Control Engine (ACE) is deployed in a data center with different network topologies and designs. ACE deployment modes provide flexibility to fit the application load-balancing requirements and the capability to integrate with various network topologies in the data center. The following ACE deployment modes are discussed in this section:

Routed mode
One-arm mode
