Authentication Methods
The Cisco UCS Manager allows various central and local user authentication options, such as LDAP (MS AD, Open LDAP), RADIUS, TACACS+, and default/native authentication (local). Cisco UCS Manager also supports two-factor authentication methods. They are supported under RADIUS and TACACS+ methods only, at the time of writing this chapter. Please see validated and supported vendors prior to designing or implementing two-factor authentication.
