Role-Based Access Control
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) enables you to restrict or authorize the type of access to a user. Type of access implies the role to which the user is assigned. A role consists of a privilege or multiple privileges. A total of 11 roles are available with Cisco UCS Manager. For example, Figure 16-4 shows the facilities-manager role and the assigned privilege in the content pane. For details of what a “Power Mgmt” privilege can execute or view, refer to the Cisco UCS configuration guide.
