Cisco UCS Server Qualification and Pool Policies

The server qualification policy enables you to create patterns of qualification criteria. These patterns can be based on CPU, memory, adapter, Part ID, and disk criteria. Under each main criterion you can further qualify at a granular level; for example, if you want to qualify based on CPU category, you have the option to choose CPU type, cores, or speed/MHz, and so on. Figure 15-15 shows the CPU criteria and the granular options for qualifications.
