Verifying Device Discovery in Cisco UCS Manager
The Cisco UCS Manager uses the Finite State Machine (FSM) to monitor the progress of configuration and discovery-related states. Every action that requires a set/retrieve action within the UCS Manager is perceived as a set of state transitions; there are “worker” processes performing these highly complex state transitions, and their progress and validity can be monitored and audited via the FSM.
