The Cisco UCS system is fundamentally designed with multitenancy in mind and ready to enable automation. The Cisco UCS system allows multilevel tiers of organizational structures. This provides the flexibility to define organizational business units; for example, marketing and finance can correspond to Tenant 1 and Tenant 2 within the system. The UCS system can be logically carved out (with all the benefits it offers) to a given organization or tenant. The ability to define resources per organization allows for shared resources/pools within the UCS system and the architecture moves away from traditional silo deployments.
