Cisco UCS 6200 Fabric Interconnect to LAN, SAN Connectivity
The Cisco UCS 6200 series Fabric Interconnects are Top-of-Rack devices. They are not exactly Cisco Nexus 5000 series switches, although there are similarities, but they do differ around the software stack it runs on. The UCS Fabric Interconnects also does not run any normal Ethernet/FC switching protocols (for example, Spanning-Tree 802.1D) or FC (FSPF).
