Cisco UCS is the only vendor offering one integrated computing and management system across both blade and rack form factors, with stateless computing features extended to both form factors, too. This enables a user to move server workloads from blade to rack servers seamlessly. Cisco UCS C-series rackmount server connectivity has evolved; at the time of writing this chapter, the latest release of Cisco UCS Manager firmware, Direct-Connect (to Fabric Interconnect) management for Cisco UCS-C-series rack servers are supported.
