Cisco MDS 9000 NX-OS provides nondisruptive software upgrades for director-class products with redundant hardware and fabric switches. Minimally disruptive upgrades are provided for the other Cisco MDS 9000 family fabric switches that do not have redundant supervisor engine hardware.
