Verifying FabricPath
The show mac address table command can be used to verify that MAC addresses are learned on Cisco FabricPath edge devices. The command shows local addresses with a pointer to the interface on which the address was learned. For remote addresses, it provides a pointer to the remote switch from which this address was learned.
The show fabricpath route command can be used to view the Cisco FabricPath routing table that results from the Cisco FabricPath IS-IS SPF calculations. The Cisco FabricPath routing table shows the best paths to all the switches in the fabric. If multiple equal paths are available between two switches, all paths will be installed in the Cisco FabricPath routing table to provide ECMP.
