This next short topic gives some advice to those of you who have read, or may soon read, the Cisco CCENT/CCNA ICND1 100-101 Official Cert Guide in pursuit of your CCENT certification.
The DCICN exam includes many fundamental networking concepts. It includes Ethernet LANs in depth: cabling, framing, addressing, switching logic, virtual LANs, spanning tree, and the list goes on. It includes IP Version 4 (IPv4) addressing, subnetting, IPv4 routing, and how to dynamically learn IPv4 routes with routing protocols.
