It just so happens that Cisco begins its first Data Center certifications with CCNA Data Center. Cisco requires you to pass two exams to achieve CCNA Data Center certification, with this book discussing the first such exam, the Introducing Cisco Data Center Networking (DCICN) exam. As it turns out, the DCICN exam overlaps with the Cisco CCNA Routing and Switch certification quite a bit, with well more than half of the topics in this book also being part of the CCNA Routing and Switching certification. As a result of Cisco’s choice to overlap the topics in DCICN and CCNA Routing and Switching, this book uses much material from the two best-selling Cisco Press cert guides for CCNA Routing and Switching.
