Cisco NX-OS Licensing

So far in this chapter, we have discussed how Cisco NX-OS has been architected from its foundation to provide data center class software modularity and HA. Now that you are familiar with the NX-OS features, this section describes how the software licensing model supports the modular software architecture.

Cisco NX-OS is composed of two different images, the kickstart image and the system image.
