Section 3.0: ISDN Configuration

3.1. Basic ISDN

  1. Configure ISDN between R2 and R4 using network 165.1.2.8/30.

  2. Advertise ISDN network in Area 1 using MD5 authentication.

  3. Remember, you need to configure ACL and CBAC on ISDN (BRI) interface on R2 for Section 6.1. See the example following item 3 in Section 6.1 in the pages that follow.

3.2. PPP Callback

  1. Configure PPP callback using the RADIUS server in VLAN2, as demonstrated in the example following item 4.

  2. Configure R2 as a callback server and R4 as a callback client.

  3. Configure static NAT translation and conduits on PIX for AAA server, as demonstrated in the following example:

    PIX(config)# show static
    static (inside,outside) 164.15.4.253 10.1.1.254 netmask 255.255.255.255 0 0
    
    PIX(config)# show conduit ...
