4.1. Basic PIX Configuration (4 points)

  1. Configure host name PIX with an inside/outside IP address as shown in Figure 5-1.

  2. Configure RIP for inside and outside interfaces using MD5 authentication.

  3. Configure RIP to advertise a default route to inside (R1) but not outside.

  4. Configure global PAT translation for all networks behind PIX to be able to ping any networks outside the PIX.

  5. PIX receives a RIP route for Loopback-2 on R1. Configure translation for the 22.22.22.0/24 network to 122.122.122.0/24. Do not use the static command to achieve this task. Configure a static route on R3 for 122.122.122.0/24 and advertise to the rest of the network.
